Overview
This 35-minute seaplane flight is a quick and easy way to travel from Victoria to Vancouver, and adds a little excitement to boot. In Victoria, capture prime aerial views of Inner Harbour, Fairmont Empress hotel and BC Parliament Buildings. Fly north over the Salish Sea and the Gulf Islands, and then make a splashy ending at Vancouver’s Coal Harbour.

The Victoria Harbour Airport terminal is situated in the Inner Harbour on Wharf Street steps from the downtown core, the Parliament Buildings and many of the city’s iconic hotels and attractions. Check in at least 25 minutes before flight time. Or come earlier as he floating terminal, boasts some of the city’s best water-front views and is located beside The Flying Otter Grill and its new extended outdoor patio (the Otter Deck) serving fresh west coast cuisine for lunch and dinner.

Take to the skies and admire the sprawling and picturesque Ogden Point port. As you leave Victoria, snap aerial shots of the Fairmont Empress, an iconic ivy-covered hotel in the area, and the neobaroque BC Parliament Buildings that sparkle at night with thousands of lightbulbs.

Your captain flies you north over the lush Gulf Islands in the Salish Sea.

• All passengers 18 years and above must present either one piece of valid government issued photo identification, or two pieces of government-issued identification without a photograph • All passengers travelling must be ambulatory in order to fly. A mobility assistance device, such as a wheelchair or cane, may be used by a passenger to get from the terminal to the aircraft, however, passengers must have the ability to walk on and off the aircraft with minimal or no assistance. • Baggage allowance: 25 lbs. Guaranteed. Additional standby baggage at $2/lb. space available. Baggage weight allowance includes all baggage, including purses. • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap • Passengers must arrive at the terminal at least 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time, and be fully checked-in 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time. • Passengers not checked-in before the check-in cutoff times will not be able to board their scheduled flight and will not be refunded their fare. • Public transportation options are available nearby • Service animals allowed • Travelers should have a high level of physical fitne
