Q. How does the City Passport Card membership program work?
Each membership valid for the calendar year provides you with a card that you show to receive the discounts.  You will also receive a copy of last year’s guidebook. (While the coupons have expired, each supplier that is still in the program and their offers will be extended using the 2009 City Passport or Explore Canada card).  You would show the City Passport or Explore Canada card as proof of purchase and provide the attraction or restaurant the expired coupon if they ask for it or want it.
This is the 7th year for most of our attraction partners.

BONUS: The 2009 City Passport & 2009 Explore Canada Card will be active June 1st and available to be useable across Canada until December 31, 2009

It is recommended that you order that area's edition of interest ($10. City Editions / $20 Road Book Guides) for that regions coupon reference to present with your card.
(Look for new 2009 offers added to our programs & the updates put regularly on our website.  New additions will be in Membership menu as "New for 2009")

We are the first company in Canada that provides a national attraction savings program in major cities such as Victoria, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec City.  The 2009 Explore Canada card will be valid in these same cities, but also at numerous towns and communities along the way.

Q. How do I become a member?
Simply order online or contact us directly for your order and you are automatically in!

Q. How do I receive my Edition / Card ?
You can either receive it by mail or courier, or you can pick it up at one of our convenient pick-up locations at your destination. You will be asked to indicate your preference and state you ETA on the online order form, once you “check-out after selecting the passport(s) you want to buy.

Q. If I choose to have them mailed to me, how long should I expect for delivery?
Depending where you are located in Canada or the United States, you should allow 1 - 2 weeks to receive your passport by mail.  If your travel date is close to this time-frame, we recommend instead that you arrange to pick up the passport at your destination (see below). International orders would take longer depending on service selected.

MORE ABOUT SHIPPING COSTS:
On the base cost applied orders, the ORDER'S final cost will be determined by QTY & weight and destination. Within this process, client is contacted to confirm overall order.

International  ~ oversea order's final cost will also depend on country or region's access or services. Also, be advised that surface options may take longer than anticipated. Some international clients have not received their mailed out orders for longer than a month, sometimes 2.  So, we now can not predict when these type of mail outs will arrive. It clearly will be dependant on the countries' services between continents.
Therefore, we strongly recommend that these orders choose the pick up option for a more secure result.

Q. Where do I pick up my order?
After placing your order, you will receive a voucher by return email. Take the voucher to one of our Pick-Up Locations in your destination, as listed in the Customer Service section of our website.  If you haven't received your voucher, contact us at information@citypassports.com  (Suggestion: Send in an email - your ETA to state on the voucher or use "comment box" within order form to state that information)

Q. What if my travel dates change?
Not a problem, most books are valid until the end of the year. Your voucher will be honoured. Call if any questions.

Q. Who can pick up my order?
Anyone in possession of the voucher or with identification of the named purchaser

Q. What if I want to purchase 10 or more?

Q. Are Gift Certificates available?
YES!
PLEASE remember to fill out order notes box if giftees name and address is different than the purchaser. Also mark any special requests or circumstances.

Q. How large are the City Passports or Explore Canada Road Books?
Each City Passport contains approx 100 pages and measure 4"x 6" (pocket size). Our Self Drive Roadbooks are meant as a “dash board book and measure 7"x 9.5". The Explore Canada Western Book is over 300 pages and the Eastern Book is over 250 pages.

Q. How long are the coupons valid?
Usually until May 31st the following year.

With the 2009 Card, the offers will be extended to December 31, 2009 according to that offer's season or offer terms shown with offer.
(Present the card along with the reference coupon)
(Supplier's option: Suppliers can change the offer or terms at their discretion.)

Q. To access the savings in the program, do I have to book in advance?
Some businesses require advance bookings, it is best to call ahead in any case.
(For pick-up order's, we suggest you contact us for the edition's list. This will assist in the trip's research and activity planning. It also contains supplier's contact information.)

Q. Besides the value coupons, what else is in the program?
An introduction to the destination, a calendar of events throughout the year, educational & historical information, with things to do to increase your enjoyment of your chosen destination. Have fun!

Q. What is your Cancellation Policy?
Mail out: If you have elected to have your City Passport shipped, your payment is refundable only if your order is cancelled prior to shipment. After this time no refund is possible.
Pick-up orders: You must contact us within 10 days of order.  Your order is refundable MINUS a $10 administration fee.
